Engineers Work In Many Industries

Engineers Week, February 22-28, 2026, is an annual U.S. observance that highlights the contributions of engineers and promotes engineering careers for future generations. This year’s theme, “Transform Your Future,” focuses on how engineering shapes opportunities, drives innovation, and builds a better world, encouraging engagement with students and showcasing the profession’s impact on future generations.

When people hear the word engineer, they may think of someone with a hard hat or someone working on very complicated things on a computer. However, in the marketing world, we have engineers too. They just don’t hold that title.

Our video and audio production people are engineers because they capture the video and sound, edit it to their liking, and deliver it to the platform for optimal viewing. Our web designers are engineers because they build and maintain websites, CMS platforms, and crazy spreadsheets with formulas that could make a scientist go mad.

And let us not forget about the AI world of engineering. Someone, somewhere, developed that whole concept and turned their ideas into an executable system. We use AI as a tool in our work to help us perform better.

So even though many of our partners have employees with the title of engineer, and others in the industry with engineering degrees, we bet in your business, you have engineers too. Anyone who solves problems by building or making something is an engineer!

Keep on designing, creating, and improving because we all have a little bit of an engineer mindset inside of us, whether we know it or not!
