Why the “E” in TruE Fit Marketing Isn’t Going Anywhere Anytime Soon

Every year on April 1st, the internet fills with bold announcements, surprising “updates,” and the occasional questionable business decision. Everyone should be prepared to read a lot of false information and to not believe anything that is posted on April 1. Just a general rule of thumb and a fair warning. And to those few readers who forget the date and believe whatever they read, this is your annual lesson that everything you read on the internet isn’t true.

This year, we jokingly announced on social media that True Fit Marketing would be dropping the “e” in our name. After all, people sometimes forget to type it anyway. Tru Fit Marketing. TruFit Marketing. TruFitMarketing.

We thought about dropping that “e” for a hot minute at one point in time until we realized something important: the “e” might be the most significant letter in our name and in marketing, teamwork, and business, too! Dropping it would mean losing some of the words that define how we work and why our partners trust us.

Let’s start with one of the most important ones:

Engagement
Marketing without engagement is like talking into an empty room. Our team likes to talk and we like engagement through social media, email campaigns, blogs, websites, or in person! The goal is to connect with people in a way that sparks conversation and builds relationships. Engagement turns audiences into communities and customers into loyal supporters. So without the “e”, ngagmnt means nothing!

Then There’s Experience
Great marketing doesn’t happen by accident. It comes from years of learning what works, what doesn’t, and how to adjust strategies along the way. Trial and, unfortunately, sometimes error. We don’t like that “e” word, but we can’t drop it because we learn from it! Experience allows us to guide partners through ever-changing platforms, evolving trends, and exciting new opportunities without losing sight of the goal. Your marketing experience matters to us, and we want to make sure you always have a positive experience.

We Also Can’t Forget Energy.
Think of us as your hype team. Good marketing requires creativity, collaboration, and a willingness to bring fresh ideas to the table. Energy is what fuels brainstorming sessions, campaign launches, and the enthusiasm needed to tell a partner’s brand story in a way that people notice. Energy can be contagious. When you come to a brainstorming session with our team, you will likely leave feeling more energized about your business than you have in a long time. And you know that the energy that you take back to your team will keep on spreading into the work that they do. While marketing is usually looked at as the ugly stepchild of business, we do tend to bring the good vibes to the table and an energy that can’t be overlooked. So go ahead and think of marketing as the fairy Godmother instead!

Another Word We Rely On Everyday Is Efficiency
Businesses don’t just need marketing. They desire marketing that works. Efficiency means building strategies that maximize results without wasting time, resources, or budgets. Time is money, people! The right plan, the right message, and the right timing make all the difference. Your marketing team can efficiently tailor your marketing plan to try to meet your goals. There will likely be bumps in the road, because let’s be honest, we can’t force people to make buying decisions, but we can efficiently steer the marketing plan in the right direction and back on course.

And Of Course There’s Excellence
At True Fit Marketing, we believe in doing things well. That means paying attention to details, delivering thoughtful work, and helping partners present their brands with confidence. Excellence isn’t about perfection. There is nothing about marketing that is perfect. But we can consistently strive to do our best and most excellent work for our partners. Party on, Wayne. Party on, Garth. EXCELLENT!

But Perhaps The Most Important “E” Word Is Everyone
Marketing isn’t a solo effort. If you work with a singular person for your marketing, or you’re try to do it all yourself, then there are too many hats being worn and you need to explore working with a team. It takes a marketing team of strategists, designers, writers, content creators, developers and more to create campaigns that truly represent a brand. Collaboration and communication keep everyone moving toward the same goal. Everyone is important on the team because when it comes to a marketing plan for a business, everyone has their own strengths, strategies, plans, and goals in mind for the partner.

The Bottom Line
So yes, while our April Fool’s joke about dropping the “e” might get a laugh, the truth is that we need it. Without the “e,” we lose engagement, experience, energy, efficiency, excellence, and everyone who helps make great marketing possible. In other words, that little letter carries a lot of weight.

Don’t worry. The “e” in True Fit Marketing isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. But if you forgot to type it once or twice… we’ll forgive you. It is April Fool’s season, after all.
