connecTel is a communications technology company built on years of experience and a commitment to exceptional customer service. In 2023, two established companies came together to form the new connecTel. With a growing team, expanded services, and multiple locations, their mission stayed the same: deliver top-tier communication solutions while maintaining strong, personal client relationships.

A Marketing Partnership Built on Trust and Timing

connecTel was introduced to True Fit Marketing through an existing partner recommendation. They were in the process of a major merger and were seeking guidance on how to communicate the change to their clients. Their first thought was to send out a joint newsletter to both companies’ customers before updating their website. After our discovery meeting, we recommended a different path, one that would help them move forward with consistency and confidence.

Rewriting the Roadmap Together

The True Fit Marketing team suggested that the website should be the first touchpoint to reflect the new brand. This way, when the internal announcement was sent to clients, the digital presence would align with the updated identity, building trust and clarity from the start.

We guided connecTel through a full brand refresh that included:

  • Brand Guide Development
    Our design team created a complete brand guide that would help unify all digital and printed communications. This included consistent color palettes, font usage, visual tone, and messaging, ensuring the entire company would speak with one strong, cohesive voice.
  • A Modern, ADA-Compliant Website
    We built a new website that was clean, professional, and fully reflective of the newly merged business. We brought it up to compliance standards, optimized it for usability, and ensured it aligned with their brand voice and goals. We now host and maintain this site, continuing to improve and monitor its performance.
  • Internal Press Release and Feature Video
    To communicate the merger effectively to existing clients, we crafted a thoughtful internal press release and produced a 15-minute video featuring three of connecTel’s team members. The video told the story of the merger in a clear, reassuring, and personable way, explaining that services, products, and relationships wouldn’t change, but the team had grown stronger.

Events, Engagement, and a Growing Future

True Fit Marketing also helped connecTel transition into event marketing. After attending their annual networking event in 2024 as a guest, our team was invited to be more involved for the 2025 event. This year, we are collaborating with another connecTel partner to plan and promote the event. Our role includes:

  • Pre-event promotion and design
  • Full event videography and photography
  • Post-event content that can be used for social media, website, and future campaigns
